Essensia 375ml 2019

Essensia is a full-bodied sweet dessert wine made with Orange Muscat grapes. Essensia refers to the idea that the wine contains the essence of the grape. To make Essensia, the Orange Muscat grapes are harvested at 23 brix, crushed, chilled, and allowed to macerate. Wine spirits are added to arrest the brief fermentation. The wine is aged for 3 months in used 60-gallon French oak barrels. Essensia has an orange-apricot marmalade character and finishes clean. Pair with vanilla, chocolate, almond, peach, apricot, banana, and apple desserts, cheesecake, biscotti, or cheese.
